Antique Savonarola Chair Karel Appel Working in the comic industryBeautiful Savonarola chair also known as a scissor, X or Dante chair, made of walnut. The chair was carved in an Italian Renaissance style, but we are unsure of the actual age of the chair. The chair features interlaced curved slats pivoted at their intersections so the chair can easily be folded and stored.
