Ischigualastia jenseni Dakosaurus suggesting a wrinkled and possiblyIschigualastia jenseni was a large kannemeyeriiform dicynodont from the Late Triassic of South America, known from fossil remains recovered from the Ischigualasto Formation in San Juan Province, Argentina. Originally described by Cox in 1962, this taxon represents one of the most characteristic large non dinosaurian herbivores of Carnian continental ecosystems and one of the most imposing dicynodonts in the South American fossil record. Its generic
