Constructed of porcelain, the obverse bearing a raised oval with a central German national eagle overlaid by a Flak 88 with its barrel raised, above an inscription of SS. ART. ABT. 867, circumscribed by an inscription of ZUR ERINNERUNG AM DEM EINSATZ GEGEN RUSSLAND (IN MEMORY OF THE DEPLOYMENT AGAINST RUSSIA), on a glazed rectangular porcelain slab, the reverse bearing an unidentified makers mark, measuring 114 mm (w)
