This scythe blade exhibits significant oxidation and is loose in retaining ring, ring does not set into recess and or there may have been a shim present for final tightening. White smudge on end of handle in middle of haft. Handles are smooth, while haft is of a rougher texture. Seems as if it is well balanced. Piece is overall in good condtion for display.
