This is an original 1893 halftone print of the French Furniture Display at the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair. The display showed the grace and beauty of the paintings on satin, the tapestry work, and the treatment of rosewood and gilded metals, which are the principal attractions of Parisian furniture. (Please note that, typical of halftone prints, there is printing on the reverse.) Period Paper has obtained a wonderful set
