Tradescantia pallida Helleborus Miscanthus 'Cosmopolitan' has become recognized(aka: Setcreasea pallida) Tradescantia pallida is a fabulous North American native (Northeastern Mexico), known primarily as a hanging basket plant. While purple heart spiderwort is great in baskets, we find it even better as a clumping groundcover of brilliant purple foliage. In the garden in full to part sun, it holds its color all summer, until dying back at first frost. In late summer, Tradescantia pallida produces a 1' tall x 30" wide tangle of
