Not surprisingly, it is the only region of Italy where it is located, while at the same time being one of the least famous. The wine offers a medium purple color, aromas of strawberries and red currant followed by a fine grained slightly drying tannins. This is slightly softer than Sangiovese and lighter than Cannonau, so a great everyday red for Mediterranean inspired
