Constructed of fine red wool with a buckram core, trimmed with twisted and rolled gold bullion wire piping, and bearing three central gold bullion wire oak leaves with two acorns situated within an oval laurel leaf wreath of identical construction, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), a rare example of a mid period tab in extremely fine condition.
