Some date this papyrus to the reign of Senusret III Middle Kingdom, 12th Dynasty, c. 1860 BC , others, less categorical, to the last third of the 12th or even the beginning of the 12th Dynasty end of the Middle Kingdom beginning of the Second Intermediate Period.
